Cub Scout Day Camp - 2016
At Summer Day Camp, Cub Scouts have opportunities to learn new skills, enhance old ones, makie new friends and work towards rank requirements, but most rewarding, just have LOTS OF SUMMER TIME FUN!
In support of Scouting’s mission and vision, this element of Rainbow Council’s summer camp program has been designed to: promote character development; generate an awareness of the responsibilities of citizenship and leadership, and perpetuate mental and physical development.
The New Lenox area Day Camp is held at Francis Field. Tiger Cubs (entering 1st grade in the fall) require a parent on-site each day.
In order to facilitate these “Adventures,” your help is needed. Every Scout is expected to have a parent or guardian volunteer at least one day to function as a Den Day Walker Leader. Additional adult support is required, as well.
